Murex trapa (Linnaeus, 1758) is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Muricidae, the murex snails or rock snails.

Hibiscus rosa-sinensis. Common names include Chinese hibiscus, China rose, Hawaiian hibiscus, and shoeblack plant.
